Soul Survivor UK

Soul Survivor is a Christian organisation that runs events to encourage young people to live out a life of worship and see Jesus' love and grace impact them and their part of the world.

Skate team

Skate team
Skate is our skateboarding/roller blading/BMXing venue at weeks A, B and C. It's packed full of half pipes, fun boxes and grind rails.
This venue is also home to the Sports Café and a massive sound system. So if you are a part of the skater scene, would like to be involved with the Skate team and you enjoy befriending, encouraging and sharing the gospel with young people, then this is the team for you.
The Skate team are on duty during the afternoons and evenings and you will work on a shift pattern, covering around 8 hours a day. You will spend your time chatting to delegates, making sure health and safety procedures are kept to and maybe even passing on some of your own skating tricks! You should have an interest in skating/blading and enough ability to be able to teach a beginner the very basics.
You will need to arrange your own accommodation but in return for your hard work we will provide you with an event pass and all your meals (dinner of Day 1 until dinner of Day 5) – what more could you want!?
You’ll be required to apply for a DBS certificate before we can confirm your place on this team. Information will be sent to you when we process your initial application but if you already have a DBS/CRB with Soul Survivor that is less than three years old then you won’t have to complete a new one - winner! Just drop us an email with the certificate number and we can take it from there.

How old do I have to be?

The minimum age is 18.

When will I need to be on site?

We’ll need you to be on site in time for the all teams meeting at 3pm on Day 1 (you may wish to arrive in time to set up your tent before the 3pm meeting) and will need you until midnight on Day 5!

Ok I’m interested, but how do I apply?

You can apply online using our booking system. If you haven't done so already, you will need to register with the system (using the box in the top right of the screen) and then login. Book a place on the event of your choice and choose the option to book as a team member. It’s completely free to volunteer with us so you won't have to give any payment details.

Any questions?

If you have any questions about serving on team then drop us an email at or give us a buzz on 0303 333 1 333 and we’d be more than happy to help!
