Sound is a very important part of the Soul Survivor set up – how else would we hear Mike sing on the last day?! And although we employ a professional sound team they can’t be in all our venues at the same time so we need you to give them a bit of help!
Working alongside our onsite professionals who will have set up the venues before you arrive, you’ll take responsibility for the technical requirements of the smaller venues and cafés around site like Café Uno. You’ll interact with the seminar hosts, speakers and venue managers to mix sound levels and set the atmosphere in our venues by operating lighting desks and sorting out projectors. Full training will be given, although previous sound experience would be useful! If you have a preference for sound or lights, let us know in your application form and we’ll try our best to accommodate your skillset and interest.
You will work around 8 hours a day in a venue that has been assigned to you, making sure all equipment is used properly and Soul Survivor sound policies are adhered to.
You will need to provide your own tent, caravan or offsite accommodation but in return for your hard work we will provide you with an event pass and all your meals (dinner of Day 1 until dinner of Day 5).
