Every day, hundreds of people come onto the Soul Survivor site. They could be anyone from our speakers on their way to a seminar, to delegates having stocked up with supplies. We believe that everyone who comes deserves to be properly welcomed! This may just be a friendly smile as they show their wristbands or a conversation as you check someone’s name off the guest list.
As part of the welcome team, as well as checking wristbands and guest lists, you will be responsible for selling day/evening passes, answering various delegate questions, directing delivery vehicles and making sure the Soul Survivor gate policy is adhered too. We aim to make Soul Survivor as safe a place as possible for all people on site so the welcome team have a key responsibility in ensuring that everyone who enters the site is checked and approved.
You’ll work about 8 hours each day, split into two 4-hour shifts covering 7am to 11pm. You will have time to go to at least one main meeting a day and you’ll also join the daily stewards meeting with worship and a chaplain who meets to pray with you.
You will need to provide your own tent, caravan or offsite accommodation but in return for your hard work we will provide you with an event pass and all your meals (breakfast on Day 1 until breakfast on Day 6) – what more could you want!?
You’ll be required to apply for a DBS certificate before we can confirm your place on this team. Information will be sent to you when we process your initial application but if you already have a DBS/CRB with Soul Survivor that is less than three years old then you won’t have to complete a new one – winner! Just drop us an email with the certificate number and we can take it from there.
